THE LANDERS PLAN TO FIGHT CRIME
Here is Steve’s 3-Point Plan on Crime
Step 1:
BUILD a team with the LRPD, NLRPD, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency to coordinate crime-stopping efforts. We need a joint team to focus on crime, neighborhood by neighborhood, and on both sides of the river. Because crime knows no boundaries.
Step 2:
FUND better technology and training, including body cameras, internet technology, neighborhood networking, and drones for First Responders. We need to put resources in the right areas and outsmart crime.
Step 3:
Step 3: RECRUIT trained and certified police officers to have more patrols on the streets. With more patrols, we can have a consistent, crime-prevention presence in every neighborhood. Crime prevention needs to be seen.
