Meet Steve
You might know Steve Landers as the car salesman from TV or as the owner of the largest auto group in Arkansas. While Steve is a successful businessman, he is also an incredible leader, an advocate for those in need, and a philanthropist who fights for what’s right.
What He Fights For
Little Rock is in need of new leadership. Our city needs a leader who can stand in the gap to fight for innocent people, battle the rising gang violence, and represent every resident.
That leader is Steve Landers. He recognizes what needs to be done and is ready to fight for:
Communities
The city of Little Rock faces many problems, but it still has so much potential. Steve is prepared to help Little Rock reach its full potential and better the quality of life for every community in Little Rock.
Education
While the city government has little to do with education, it impacts funding for schools through tax revenues and community investments from Little Rock businesses and residents. Steve has ideas to improve funding for Little Rock Schools to make them safe places for our children.
Finances
Steve believes that current leadership wastes money on things that aren’t important and doesn’t spend enough on the areas that need it most. You work hard for your money and deserve to know where your tax dollars go.
Infrastructure
There are many improvements that Little Rock’s infrastructure desperately needs. However, the current short-term fixes are not enough. Steve is prepared to implement long-term solutions that better the quality of life for every resident.
Progress
We can all agree— we want pride in this city again. However, it’s hard to do that when so many parts of our city look like a dump. Steve wants Little Rock to be a place that you, your children, and your grandchildren can take pride in for years to come.
Taxes
The cost of living is the highest that it’s been in decades. The prices of essential goods increase every day, and everyone is struggling. Steve plans to alleviate this inflation by avoiding tax hikes and unnecessary taxes at all costs.

Not Ready To Retire
In 2016, Steve sold his auto group to his son, Scott, and Luther Automotive, with plans to retire. However, with time to get out, enjoy the city, and visit with other Little Rock residents, he realized the city was at a tipping point.
Steve can’t sit back and watch Little Rock continue to go downhill. He plans to fix what needs to be fixed in the city to make Little Rock a better place for you, your children, and your grandchildren to live.
